Privacy
Privacy policy
Written to be short and clear. Many FullPhil users are under 18, so we keep data to a minimum and keep privacy settings high by default.
What we collect
- If you don't create an account: nothing is sent to us. Your answers, marks and plans are saved only in your browser.
- If you create an account: your email address, a username, your password (stored only as a secure hash by our login provider), and optionally a name you choose for greetings.
- Your revision: the answers you write, the marks you give or receive, exams you sit, your revision plan, exam arrangements you choose, and the date of your last visit.
What we don't do
- No adverts, no selling or sharing your data, and no tracking or analytics cookies.
- No public profiles: nobody else can see your answers, marks or progress.
- The leaderboard is off unless you switch it on. If you do, other signed-in students see only your username and your leaderboard points (the total marks of the questions you've answered). Switch it off at any time and you disappear from it straight away.
- No location tracking.
Why we use it
Only to run FullPhil for you: to save your progress, sync it between your devices, and show it back to you.
Where it's stored
Account data is stored with Supabase, our database and login provider. Each account's data is locked so it can only be read by that account.
AI features and payments
When you use an AI feature (marking, a model answer or a guide), the question and your answer are sent to Anthropic, which runs the AI, to produce the result. They aren't used to train AI models. We keep a record of the credits each request used, and save the model answers and guides you generate to your account.
Credit purchases are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach FullPhil; we only keep how many credits you bought and a payment reference.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. You can do that at any time from your account page, which permanently removes your account and everything saved in it. You can also download a copy of your data there.
Under 13?
FullPhil is made for A-level students. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or carer before creating an account.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Use the tools on your account page, or contact the site owner. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
